The Distributed Discrete I/O module (DDIO) reduces wiring and engineering costs in substation monitoring and control applications. DDIO can be connected to any RTU via DNP3 Ethernet (fiber or RJ45) or serial connections. An IRIG-B input synchronizes DDIO to an external clock with 1ms resolution.
