The 8000 Series Ethernet I/O system is a modern, rugged and robust hardware platform with wide operating temperature range, corrosion resistance, system information management, HART compatibility and unique 1-to-6 redundancy.
NovaTech 8000 I/O is ideal for new D/3® installations and for upgrading existing NovaTech 16000 Series I/O families in existing Process Control Module cabinets. Retrofit panels facilitate connection to new termination panels with minimal impact to existing connectors and wiring. A single 8000 Series I/O module can provide hot-swappable backup for up to six other units. With a -40o C to + 70o C operating temperature range and conformal PCB coating, the NovaTech 8000 Series I/O may be used in control rooms and in hostile field environments. All 8000 Series I/O are listed to UL 61010.
