New Bitronics 50 Series SCADA Meters Available Q4 09

Bitronics® has been providing excellence in digital metering for local indication and SCADA communications for over 15 years. The Bitronics 50 Series of SCADA meters continues this tradition of excellence, providing single function and multifunction solutions for 3-phase metering.  

The first 50 Series meters, available this fall, will be the Bitronics M650 family offering incomparable display, simple setup, and superior communications flexibility.   

Key features include:
• Ultimate precision with 5-digit, 3-line at once LED display
• Instant recognition of displayed parameter via Bitronics alphanumeric display of engineering units
• Easy start-up with universal wiring, configurable RS-232/RS-485 port, selectable DNP3 or Modbus protocol, preset point lists, and universal power supply
• Standard Ethernet service port eliminates the need for PC software as it allows meter interface via a standard web browser.
• Serial, Ethernet and transducer output options provide communications flexibility

There are many standard features with only a few options to select.  One model can satisfy all different wiring configurations, port assignments and protocol selections.  They also include a standard Ethernet service port that allows for direct interface to the unit from a standard web browser.”

The 50 Series introduction will continue into the first quarter of 2010 with additional M650 options as well as the introduction of families of single function meters.
