BioMass Energy Classroom Under Construction

The D/3® DCS is successfully controlling the University of South Carolina biomass steam generation plant. The electrical generation components of the plant are undergoing operational scenarios.

D/3 controls and historical trending capabilities are crucial to plant operations and ongoing engineering refinements for the biomass gasification system. 

An engineering student training facility is under construction within the plant to train USC students on the controls of a biomass energy generation facility.
