As part of NovaTech’s ongoing commitment to curate best-in-class technology solutions that extend the value and improve the efficiency of our customers’ operations, we are proud to announce two new partnerships:
Eltav Wireless Valve Monitoring
Winner of 2009 Silver Innovation Award and awarded the 2010 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation in the wireless sensor solutions market, the Eltav solution uses a redundant, self-organizing and self-healing wireless mesh network (license-free IEEE 802.15.4) that conforms to industrial standards and can be fully integrated with all standard automation systems: PLC, SCADA, and DCS (including NovaTech’s D/3®).
Installation is compatible with all valve types, is non-disruptive even in active production environments, and can be accomplished at a fraction of the cost of wired alternatives.
Eltav’s products are ATEX-certified and designed for use in Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Gas and Oil, Water Treatment, Plant Utilities, Power Generation and other applications.
PAS Alarm Management
PAS, a pioneer in alarm management software since 1993. Their PlantState Suite (PSS) incorporates more than 200 man-years of cumulative alarm management experience. Poorly designed alarm systems can overwhelm operators with alarm floods and hinder their ability to respond quickly (and correctly) to plant upsets. Industry incident investigations have shown that time is the most critical factor to safely mitigate the impact of an upset.
NovaTech’s customers will be able to take full advantage of the PSS solution as it will be tightly integrated with the D/3’s existing alarm management capabilities and operator interface. PAS’ PlantState Suite software used in conjunction with the D/3‘s comprehensive alarm package facilitates complete customer compliance to the ISA-18.2-2009 Management of Alarm Systems for the Process Industries standard.
Supported by the staff of professionals at PAS, NovaTech can provide a comprehensive alarm management solution based on the industry’s most rigorous alarm management methodology.
