Bitronics® Electric Power Measurement and Recording Products
In applications ranging from traditional SCADA monitoring to distributed event recording and advanced, high-speed control, Bitronics® Electric Power Measurement and Recording Products have set the gold standard for quality and dependability in the electric utility substation for decades. Over 100,000 Bitronics meters and IEDs are installed in substations worldwide.
Designed, built, and supported in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Bitronics products are recognized worldwide for their reliability, advanced features, and outstanding support.
70 Series IEDs
The Bitronics 70 Series of Intelligent Electronic Devices are the world's first IEC 61850 compliant measurement servers. Their high-speed (4ms) measurement speed, integrated I/O, configurable event and trend recording, and simultaneous communications to multiple SCADA and engineering masters/ clients make the 70 Series IEDs ideal measurement and control nodes for Smart Grid applications such as the integration of distributed or intermittent energy sources like wind.
50 Series SCADA Meters
The Bitronics 50 Series of SCADA Meters are designed to simplify installation and configuration with universal wiring, configurable RS-232/RS-485 port, Ethernet Port, web-based configuration and setup, configurable DNP3 or Modbus protocol, preset point lists, and universal power supplies.

MultiComm, PowerPlex, WattVAR and TriPlexback to top
The MultiComm Digital Power Meter family consists of multifunction power meters with serial ports for communications of multiple parameters to SCADA/EMS systems and substation automation systems. The PowerPlex Digital Transducer family includes an RTS model with a separate reference voltage to calculate the phase angle to system voltage for synchronizing and gen-set applications. TriPlex Meters measure and display three phases of Amps and Volts (including Demand), and the Watt/VAR meters simultaneously display total Watts, Total VARs or other combinations.
Other Panel Meters
Bitronics also produces the Triple II Amp Demand and Volt Min/Max Meters and DC Amp and Volt Meters, and Transducer Display Meters.
Bitronics Software
Bitronics Software offerings include the 70 Series Configurator, Wavewin Bitronics Event Viewer, and BiVIEW configuration and viewing software for MultiComm and Powerplex products.
